Production & New Media

In addition to writing and performing Beth's extensive media career includes both drama and digital/web media development and production. For several years she served on the Executive, then the Board of Women in Film & Television. She produced drama for BBC-2 and Channel 4 before taking up a post as Development Executive for BBC Television Drama Series.

In the late 1990s she re-focused on the new media explosion, becoming a Senior Web Producer for a multi-national webhouse, coordinating and supervising early sites for Boots The Chemist, Radio 5Live, ZDNet, the 1997 Election Site, and the RSPCA.

A member of the original award-winning NY La MaMa Theater Troupe, Beth co-founded and ran the Wherehouse La MaMa London and co-directed their production of Groupjuice for BBC2. For their stage and televised production of The Hilton Keen Blow Your Chances Top of the Heap Golden Personality Show of the Week, she was voted Most Promising Actress by the London Times.

Subsequently she co-starred as Kitty Schreiber in Thames TV's hit series Rock Follies, BBC1's The Deep Concern, and alongside Leonard Rossiter in The Baby's Name Being Kitchener. She featured in films with Kirk Douglas, Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, and Barbra Streisand, and has worked with film directors including Jack Clayton, John Schlesinger, Dan Petrie, and Colin Bucksey. She guest-starred in US TV episodes of Kojak and Baretta, and was featured in UK mini-series such as The Men's Room, Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Inspector Wexford, and Alan Bleasdale Presents.
